As Spring brings warmer temps and longer days it also brings out one of Alaska most iconic creatures: bears!
Come and listen to bear safety expert Martin Farris give a talk on proper precautions to take when navigating the backcountry. Martin, a lifelong Alaskan, will take you through all you need to know to get out there and enjoy the wonders of the Alaskan wilderness. The talk will culminate in practice sessions with inert bear spray cans so you can know what to expect when you deploy them in the wild.
