Washington AFI is Hosting the 4th Annual Veterans 3D Archery Shoot at Tacoma Sportsmen’s Club!
Why You Should Want to Attend:
The Armed Forces Initiative (AFI) of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) brings the military community and conservation supporters together through hands-on outdoor recreation and stewardship. Join WA AFI and the Tacoma Sportsmen’s Club for the 4th Annual Veterans 3D Archery Shoot, a high-energy, two-day event that combines friendly competition, skill development, and conservation fundraising in Western Washington.
This annual shoot has become one of WA AFI’s signature events—supporting veteran engagement in conservation while creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for archers of all experience levels.
What It Is:
The 4th Annual Veterans 3D Archery Shoot is a two-day 3D archery competition featuring a total of 70 life-like 3D targets set across the course. Shooters may participate for one day, but must compete both days to qualify for trophies and major prizes.
Attendees can expect to:

Shoot a challenging and exciting 3D archery course with realistic targets

Compete for trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each class

Participate in raffles and door prizes from event sponsors, including a bow with accessories

Connect with fellow veterans, archers, and conservation-minded outdoorspeople

Support AFI’s mission to engage veterans in conservation and stewardship
This event serves as WA AFI’s primary annual fundraiser, directly supporting programs that connect veterans with public lands, wildlife conservation, and outdoor mentorship.

Who Can Attend:

Open to EVERYBODY including: Active Duty, Veterans, and military supporters, archers of all experience levels, conservation supporters and community members
ποΈ Entry Fee: $20–$40 depending on age and veteran status
(Veterans receive a discounted round.)
You do not need to be a BHA member to participate (though we’d love to have you join!).
