The Midwest Fly Fishing Expo is a premier event for fly fishing enthusiasts in the Great Lakes region. It is organized by the Michigan Fly Fishing Club (MFFC) and takes place for two days each March. The event is the oldest all-fly angling event east of the Mississippi and features free seminars, fly tying demonstrations, and over 100 exhibitors showcasing a wide range of fly fishing gear and related products. The proceeds from the Expo support the MFFC's educational programs and conservation efforts to restore and enhance Michigan's rivers and lakes.
