Idaho AFI is Hosting a Post-Season Pint Night in Mountain Home!

Why You Should Want to Attend:

The Armed Forces Initiative of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers connects the military community through shared experiences centered on public lands, hunting, and conservation. Join Idaho AFI for a relaxed Post-Season Pint Night in Mountain Home — a chance to unwind after the season, swap stories, and reconnect with fellow hunters, anglers, and conservation-minded folks.

This is a great opportunity to reflect on the past season, learn about upcoming AFI projects and opportunities, and get your questions answered about AFI and BHA’s work in Idaho and beyond.

What It Is:

The Post-Season Pint Night is a casual social gathering designed to build community and strengthen connections within the military and conservation communities.

Attendees can expect to:

• Share stories and highlights from the past hunting season

• Learn about upcoming Idaho AFI events and stewardship projects

• Ask questions about AFI programs and opportunities to get involved

• Enjoy good conversation and cold beer in a laid-back setting

All military-affiliated attendees of legal drinking age will receive their first drink free.

Who Can Attend:

• Open to everyone

• Military-affiliated attendees (Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star Families)

• BHA members, friends, and anyone interested in conservation and public lands

You do not need to be a BHA member to attend (but we’d love to have you join!).

Additional Details:

• First drink free for military-affiliated attendees of legal drinking age

• No RSVP or application required
