Washington AFI is Hosting a Backcountry Brews Pint Night in Puyallup!

Why You Should Want to Attend:

The Armed Forces Initiative of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers connects the military community with wild public lands and waters through community, education, and outdoor experiences. Washington AFI  invites you to join us for a lively Pint Night at The Redd Dog in Puyallup sponsored by onX Maps!

This event brings together veterans, service members, and outdoor enthusiasts for an evening of great conversation, storytelling, and shared passion for public lands and conservation. Whether you’re new to BHA or a long-time member, this is the perfect way to learn about AFI’s mission and connect with the Washington chapter’s growing community.

What It Is:

The AFI Washington Public Lands Pint Night is part social gathering, part educational evening designed to celebrate hunting, conservation, and the camaraderie that defines the military community.

Attendees can expect to:

• Hear from AFI–WA Vice President Barrett Rambie about AFI–WA’s mission and upcoming events

• Learn about the 2026 Predator Camp and how to get involved

• Hear from Doug Bishop, a 2025 Predator Camp mentee, as he shares his experience from this year’s camp

• Participate in trivia and open story time — bring your best hunting or fishing tales!

This event is a great way to relax, meet like-minded outdoorsmen and women, and celebrate the shared values of service and stewardship that drive AFI and BHA.

Who Can Attend:

• Members of the military community - Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star Families

• BHA members and conservation-minded volunteers

• Anyone passionate about wildlife, habitat restoration, and supporting veterans in conservation

You do not need to be a BHA member to attend (but we’d love to have you join!).
