North Carolina AFI is Hosting an Alaska Caribou Film & Pint Night at Railhouse Brewery!

The Armed Forces Initiative of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers connects the military community with wild public lands and waters through hands-on experiences, education, and camaraderie. Join North Carolina AFI for an evening that celebrates adventure, conservation, and community over good beer and a great film.

This special event brings together veterans, service members, and outdoor enthusiasts to share in the spirit of exploration while supporting the protection of America’s wild public lands. Whether you’re a seasoned backcountry hunter, a new angler, or simply someone who appreciates wild country, this night is for you.

What It Is:

The Alaska Caribou Film & Pint Night features the stunning documentary “Alaska Caribou: North Slope of the Brooks Range”, a cinematic journey through one of North America’s last truly untamed landscapes. Experience the story of wild places and the people who dedicate themselves to conserving them.

After the film, stick around for a short discussion on the importance of habitat conservation, public land access, and sustaining North America’s hunting and fishing heritage.

Attendees can expect to:

• Watch a fantastic conservation film on the wild caribou herds of Alaska

• Meet fellow veterans, sportsmen, and conservationists

• Learn about BHA’s work to protect access and habitat across the country

• Enjoy pints and food available for purchase at Railhouse Brewery

• Join in optional discussions and community-building afterward
