Have you been interested in hunting but haven't had the chance to learn? The Arizona Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, along with their partners, is offering a free, all-inclusive program that will introduce you to quail and rabbit hunting including sessions on firearm safety, access to public lands, ethical hunting, the history of conservation, and how to care for and butcher your harvest.

The workshop will take place on public lands in Northern Arizona. Accommodations will be camping and you will spend the weekend on-site with your fellow classmates and workshop leaders. You'll spend the time participating in educational sessions and mentored hunts with experts from BHA, Arizona Game & Fish, Arizona Wildlife Federation, and Quail Forever. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to try different wild game meals that will be provided throughout the weekend.

The camp will begin Friday November 21st at 1pm with firearms safety and clay shooting and end Sunday November 23 at 1pm.

The camp will take place in Prescott National Forest and the exact location will be disclosed to accepted applicants.

You must apply to be considered for the Hunting for Sustainability program. Applicants will be notified November 1st.
