The Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is hosting a Public Lands Pint Night in the corpus/ South Texas area, and we want you to join us Thursday, September 25th at Packery Bar & Grill in Corpus Christi!
join us as we Welcome guest speaker Captain Brian Donovan. Brian lives in Rockport and is Chapter President of North Texas Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. He has tons of non-profit experience and was heavily involved in oyster regulations changes, and is a staunch coastal advocate. He regularly attends grassroots meetings in south TX to fight against desalination discharge into Baffin Bay and will talk about these issues that affect our public waters.
This Public Lands Pint Night comes at a critical moment in defending our public lands heritage. In June, public landowners across the country rallied to conact members of the house and Senate and helped kill language that would have mandated the sale of 3 million acres of our public lands!!
BHA members and supporters took action over 150,000 times calling and emailing their legislators asking them to stand for our public lands!!
We are now seeing some critical proposed changes to Baffin Bay regarding brackish groundwater and saline surface water desalination.
BHA Pint Nights are open to the public! Whether you hunt, fish, hike, or just love the outdoors, your voice matters. These are fun, informal events where hunters, anglers, and conservationists come together to:
