RSVP BELOW!

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is leading the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area Post-Fire Rehabilitation and Connectivity Project in collaboration with the Department of Fish & Wildlife, the Sagebrush in Prisons Project, and Wildlands Network,  with funding provided by the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation and Sitka Gear. This large-scale rehabilitation project will restore critical winter range habitat for mule deer, pronghorn antelope, and elk. We are also working closely with the Washoe Tribe to include culturally significant plants in our restoration.

Check out the storymap (below) for an in depth look at the project.

Friday & Saturday evenings after planting, we hope you will join us for our Beer, Bands & Bitterbrush Stands event located 30 minutes from the project site in the Lost Sierra Valley. We will have on-site camping, live music, beverages, food, raffles and more!
