All are invited to join the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers at a work day to support the hunting program at Brandywine Creek State Park.
There has been a slight change to the workday. Instead of installing wooden stands, volunteers will assist park staff in creating hunting perimeters on the Flint Wood tract of Brandywine Creek State Park. This will allow for increased hunting opportunities at the park through the use of portable stands at Flint Woods, in addition to the existing metal treestands.
Volunteers will still meet at the Thompson's Bridge parking lot at 8 am and carpool to Flint Woods. Please contact Patrick McMaster at [email protected] with any questions.
We'll meet at 8am at the Thompson's Bridge Parking lot at Brandywine Creek State Park to work with State Park leadership to install the new stands.
This event is open to BHA members, friends and non-members! You must RSVP and accept the liability waiver at the link below to participate.
Things to Bring: Dress for the weather, wear sturdy work clothes and boots and bring drinking water, snacks, etc.
