BHA’s North American Rendezvous 2024 Moves to Minneapolis Convention Center: Tickets Now Live
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) announced the much-anticipated launch of ticket sales for Rendezvous 2024 held in Minneapolis, MN from Apr. 18-20. Rendezvous represents the annual gathering for the broader BHA community to celebrate the organization’s focus on access to public lands and waters, conservation action, and on-the-ground stewardship to restore the special places sought by hunters and anglers. The event is open to the public and welcomes outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for BHA’s mission.
This year Rendezvous 2024 will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center in downtown Minneapolis, MN, marking the first time BHA’s premier annual event will be held outside the northern Rockies. Of special significance this year is the celebration of BHA’s 20th anniversary, marking two decades of work on behalf of our public lands, waters, and wildlife.
“We are excited to start bringing the Rendezvous experience to the BHA community across North America, this time to the Minnesota Heartland,” said Patrick Berry, President & CEO of BHA. “Rendezvous highlights our commitment to engage and celebrate the conservation-minded hunters and anglers who embody the BHA ethos. In the world of gatherings focused on hunting, fishing, and conservation, there’s nothing quite like Rendezvous.”
With the largest exhibitor space of any Rendezvous yet, BHA will be joined by corporate partners such as Benchmade, Filson, Jetboil, NRS, Rep Your Water among many other outdoor brands and organizations. Featured guests will include Ryan Callaghan, Director of Conservation for MeatEater, podcast celebrity, and Vice Chair of the BHA Board of Directors. Additional presenters include Randy Newberg, hunter, public lands advocate, and host of fan-favorite hunting show Fresh Tracks.
Acknowledging the recent venue change from the Minnesota State Fairground to the Convention Center, Berry added, “We weren’t comfortable with the somewhat surprising prohibition on safely displayed firearms, knives, and other tools of the trade for hunters and anglers. In keeping with BHA’s steadfast commitment to both the core constituency of the BHA community as well as some our corporate partners, we unapologetically decided to find a new location where we could enjoy Rendezvous in our distinctive way.”
Rendezvous participants can enjoy fan favorites, such as the world-renowned Field to Table dinner, the BHA Chapter Wild Game Cook-off, as well as hunting, angling and outdoor seminars, panels, and demonstrations. On tap this year, BHA will bring a renewed vision of our Campfire Stories during our Public Lands and Waters Celebration, reigniting the Struttin’ & Cluckin’ Calling Contest, as well as an evening of live Podcast and Pints.
BHA Life Podcast & Blast host Hal Herring will be in Minneapolis this Rendezvous, too. “I’m looking forward once again joining this one-of-a-kind tribe of public land hunters, anglers, and conservationists—my kind of people,” Herring said.
