Please join Arkansas BHA at Lake Dardanelle State Park for our second annual Catfish Camp!
We've moved the date to coincide with the hottest catfish bite of the year at Lake Dardanelle. Once again our local host and expert catfisherman, Dr. Michael Bradley, will provide us with three days of hands-on catfishing fun with jugs and noodles and boat fishing with rods and reels.
Arkansas Game and Fish will give an educational presentation on Saturday over lunch and the weekend will culminate with a mouthwatering fish fry on Sunday before everyone heads home.
What to Expect: This is a family friendly event and all are welcome. Get to know some of our fellow public water outdoor enthusiasts and learn some catfishing methods. There will be fun and fellowship for the whole family and we'll learn some things too. Arrival will be Friday starting and 5 p.m. and we'll depart by 1 p.m. Sunday.
Camping: Space is limited. We have 10 campsites reserved.
To reserve you space, please purchase a ticket below and then contact Brad Green ([email protected]) to let him know the number of folks in your party so he can assign you a site.
Each ticket secures space for one camper / RV and one tent or 2 tents for Friday 6-21 and Saturday 6-22. Includes electrical hookup and water.
Climate controlled restroom/shower house, playground and fishing dock on site.
Camping is encouraged but not required.
Please note that the state park has 2 locations. This event takes place at the Dardanelle site at 10305 Marina Rd, Dardanelle, AR 72834
What to bring: Attendees should bring their own camping gear, food, drinks, boats and fishing gear as they would for a weekend campout. We have some fishing gear to share and enough boats to make sure everyone get a turn out on the water.
