Volunteer Opportunity:
Yelm American Legion Post 164 and Yelm VFW are holding the first-ever Yelm Military Outdoor Expo on July 8th, 2023. This free event will highlight all of the outdoor opportunities and organizations in the area to help get Active Duty, Veterans and their families pointed in the right direction outdoors. This is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages, booths dedicated to different aspects of the outdoors, and food vendors.
The Washington Armed Forces Initiative has been asked to provide a booth for the event, this is a great time to come meet some of the Washington Leadership and give back while spreading the word of BHA. Of course you will have time to visit the other booths and network yourself but the more members we can have working the booth the better.
Volunteering does not lock you in for the whole day, please let us know your availability as the event gets closer and we look forward to seeing you out to make this a great event.
