This event is just in time for Archery season and a great way to feel confident going into the field that you’ll be able to make the most of a harvest in the field! This will be a full Saturday, 9am-12pm event with the opportunity to have a hands on experience to develop your backcountry skills.
During this workshop you’ll learn about how to properly care for meat in the field and why it’s so important to do so. We will also cover the foundations of skinning, quartering, and at home butchering. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their new skills and explore some of the different tools available for game processing. Animals will be provided by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
