WI BHA is hosting a WDNR chainsaw safety training course for volunteers on Saturday, September 23rd, at 8 a.m. The course will be held at Hook Lake Wildlife Area, south of Madison. The classroom portion of the training will be held at a shop on the property, and the field training will be done on-site afterward.
This course is a requirement for volunteers who would like to operate chainsaws on state-managed lands. WI BHA is in need of certified sawyers during most of our conservation workdays.
You will need to RSVP to be registered for the course, and we will send out detailed location information to attendees.
