All are invited to join the Georgia Chapter of BHA for The Great Southern Squirrel & Big Game Bonanza at Cohutta WMA December 1 to
Friday (12/1) Starting at around 4 pm we will gather at our campsite (Campsite Coordinates: 34.86105,-84.63633) to get our spots and set up.
Saturday (12/2) morning we will depart from camp to hunt Small game (Squirrels, Rabbits, etc...) or Big game (Deer or Bear). Please hunt as long as you want some may come back to camp for lunch while others will stay out all day.
We will gather back at camp Saturday evening for comradery and maybe a story or 2 around the fire.
Sunday (12/3) morning we will hunt and then pack up camp around midday.
Please come when you can! If you can only come on Saturday then that is great! We would love to have you!
If you plan to camp please bring your camping gear. There is room for small campers as well.
There are multiple species open for hunting this weekend. Lots of small game opportunities as well as big game opportunities. Please bring the gear that best suits what you plan to hunt. Rifle season is open on this WMA so please bring your hunter orange.
