Take Action for Sunday Hunting in Virginia

Restrictions on Sunday hunting are an impediment to reasonable hunting access, limiting the opportunities of working hunters and restricting hunter recruitment and retention.

HB 1799, introduced by Delegate James E. Edmunds, would remove the Sunday hunting prohibition for all species on Virginia's public lands. The passage of this bill could mean that Virginia’s 261,000 sportsmen and women could spend double their time afield, increasing our state’s economy and boosting conservation funding.
