The State of South Carolina is the 40th largest state in the country. Approximately 88% of that land mass is privately owned, creating a dire need for an organization like BHA in our state. The 12% of remaining lands that are public are of great importance to the wildlife, as well as the outdoorsmen and women in this state.
This group is very aware of the issues at the local, state, and national level, and their impacts. We will provide a strong voice for the outdoor enthusiasts to our federal, state, and local lawmakers.
