Join Board President Dave Brennan and our friends at Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for a joint volunteer project on the Kalmiopsis Rim Trail. Meet at Ray's Market in Selma at 745am and carpool to the Babyfoot Lake Trailhead.
The trip includes five miles of hiking and some steep pitches, narrow sections, and around 1,500 feet of total elevation gain. The work will be concentrated to a section of the Kalmiopsis Rim Trail set back from Babyfoot Lake, where we'll finish the day with some fishing.
Just email [email protected] or call 541-324-8694 for details and to sign up. You do not need trail experience but should be comfortable with the 5-mile hike. The Club provides hardhats and tools. All you need is a pack, food, water, and appropriate footwear and apparel.
