Win a Guided Rhode Island Duck Hunt!

Win a Guided RI Duck Hunt with Big Game Waterfowl

We’re excited to be teaming up with our friends at Big Game Waterfowl to send one lucky hunter (and up to three hunting buddies) on a one-day guided waterfowl hunt. Valued at $1250, the hunt will be guided by Captain Jarad Luchka – who leverages 20+ years of experience hunting and guiding around Narragansett Bay and the surrounding waters to provide opportunities at sea ducks, divers, geese, and puddle ducks. The hunt is fully outfitted, including decoys, boat, and fuel, but hunters will be responsible for ensuring they are property licensed and bringing their own firearms and ammunition. Full details to get your chance to win below:

  • Hunters can enter for a chance to win by signing up for a BHA membership, or renewing their existing membership at https://www.backcountryhunters.org/join between November 16 and December 7.
  • Hunters with a Rhode Island mailing address will be entered to win automatically
  • Hunters from outside RI are eligible to win, but must email [email protected] during the open period to be considered in addition to signing up or renewing their membership. Out-of-state hunters will be responsible for arranging travel to RI for the hunt, and will be expected to follow current COVID-related regulations.
  • Only one entry is available per-person, but the winner can choose up to three hunters to join the hunt. You can up your odds by passing the word on to your hunting buddies so they can grab their own entries!
  • A winner will be selected at random in early December, and a mutually agreeable hunting date will be selected for later in the 2020-2021 RI waterfowl season.
  • Hunters will be responsible for providing their own firearms and ammunition and ensuring that they are property licensed to hunt waterfowl in RI at the time of the hunt.
