RULES, REGULATIONS, PRIZE PACKAGES: PLEASE READ
- To enter, upload your photos above along with a brief description of your image by 10pm MST of December 15th.
- Please enter the highest resolution version of your photo possible.
- Photos with watermarks will *not* be considered.
- You *must* be the photographer to win one of the top three prizes. The exception to this is the #PublicLandOwner Award, in which you must have full rights to the photograph and be wearing a Public Land Owner t-shirt. You can get your own Public Land Owner t-shirt here.
- Winners will be selected by a panel of BHA experts. Winning images will be featured in a forthcoming issue of Backcountry Journal.

1. By entering, Entrant represents that he or she owns or has the rights to convey any and all right and title in photo(s) submitted as part of the contest entry. By entering, Entrant grants to BHA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free copyright license to edit, publish, promote, republish at any time in the future and otherwise use Entrant's submitted photo(s), along with Entrant's name and likeness, in any and all media for possible editorial, promotional or advertising purposes, without further permission, notice or compensation (except where prohibited by law). By participating in the Contest, Entrant agrees to release BHA and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and employees from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
2. Original photos only. You must be the photographer in order to win the top three prizes. The exception to this is the Public Land Owner Award, in which you must have full rights to the photograph.
3. Photos must have been taken on or around public lands.
