Come on out and join us on September 25 to restore a beautiful parcel of New England forest. Bordered by the Mascoma river headwaters, the forest has long been a source for sweet maple treats. Now it is time to reclaim the forest by removing the lines left behind by past sugaring operations. In concert with USFWS we will be cutting, pulling, and disposing of a portion of over 220 acres of abandoned sugaring operation.
Meeting Location: We will meet at Williams Field in Canaan NH @ 8:30 am. The parking lot is located across from Canaan Village Pizza in the center of Canaan village. From there we will drive about 15 minutes to the parcel. There is limited cellular service once out of the village.
Please wear appropriate work clothes and bring water, work gloves, sunscreen, etc.
Please RSVP below so we know to expect you!
