New England AFI Ruffed Grouse Camp

The New England AFI is hosting a ruffed grouse hunting camp at Wild Roots Community Farm in Bristol, Vermont.

AFI members will be grouse hunting led by mentors with and without dogs. We will be hunting the surrounding Green Mountain National Forest and state land. The camp will go over survival skills, ruffed grouse habitat, and local conservation needs. The camp will be held Friday, September 29th through Sunday, October 1st.

There are only 8 slots so sign up soon. Military affiliated membership to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers required for attendance (Veteran, National Guard, Reserves, Active Duty, Gold Star Family) and live in one of the New England states (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI). There is a $25 fee that comes with a one year military affiliated membership to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. If you already have a military affiliated membership it will be automatically extended.
