NC Wildlife Resource Commission, Fort Bragg Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Armed Forces Initiative Club will host a Getting Started Outdoors Whitetail Workshop.
With the opportunity to scout NC game land the next morning. (Potential for 15-20 participants to have lodging provided in summer camp type cabins at a nearby facility.)
In order to participate candidates, need to email Deet at [email protected], and must meet the following requirements.
GSO Attendance REQUIREMENTS:
- NEVER Hunted (primary target audience).
- MINIMAL Hunting Experience (you have NOT ACTIVELY hunted for MORE than THREE years).
- LACKING Social Support (you have no readily available hunting family members or friends).
- LAPSED (non-active) hunters including those that have NEVER harvested big game (i.e., turkey or deer).
GSO Attendance PREREQUISITES:
- Hunter Safety Certification: Hunter Education Courses (ncwildlife.org)(Online, virtual and in person courses are available)
- VALID NC Hunting License:Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Licenses (ncwildlife.org)
