NCBHA First Annual Group Camp

The North Carolina Chapter of BHA invites you to our first statewide camping event.

We'll gather at Badin Lake Group Campground in the Uwharrie National Forest from the evening of Friday March 22^nd through the morning of Sunday March 24^th.

This will be a family friendly event and we encourage you to bring everyone!

Schedule of Events:

Friday Afternoon/Evening:

6:00 pm: Arrive and set up camp
8:30pm: Welcome/Thanks with NCBHA Chairman Luke Weingarten

Saturday:

10:00am-12:00pm: Group Hiking (weather permitting)
4:00pm: Start Cooking Chili
5:00pm-6:30pm: Chili judging
8:00pm: Update on NC Chapter and Q&A with Board/Council Leaders
8:30pm: Pick Up S’mores

Sunday:

10:30am: Departure Time

Saturday evening we will be having a Chili Cook-Off! The winner will be democratically selected by the rest of the group. The Chapter will provide all the supplies for samples and judging, so all you need to bring is your supplies for chili, and what you think is enough to supply everyone. The winner will win some BHA swag!

The Chapter Board will get everyone together and talk about our plans for the coming year. It will also be a time for you to provide input!

Finally, we will finish the night with a big game of conservation trivia.

This event will be a great chance for you (and your families) to meet like-minded folks from all across the state!

Mandatory RSVP: This event is limited to 100 people, you must RSVP below with your anticipated party size. This event is free to the public, but we ask that if you aren’t already a BHA member, that you will sign up prior to coming to the event.
