Come out and join Kentucky BHA at Buckhorn Lake State Park at 9am on September 24th as we join up with the Corps of Engineers of Buckhorn Lake State
Park and help clean up around the facility after the historic floods this summer. Many campgrounds were shut down in eastern Kentucky this summer due to flood damage resulting in a loss of recreational opportunities by many and not to mention the loss of tourism dollars from these facility shutdowns. Come out and help us clean up this facility so that it can once again open for camping and attract people to the beauty of this area in Kentucky! What a great way to celebrate National Public Lands Day!!
Registration will be in the parking lot next to the playground at the Dam @ 8:30 am
Lunch will be provided but please bring snacks, appropriate clothing, water, and gloves! We look forward to seeing you there!
