Join us for another stewardship day at the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area in the North Bay Area in coordination with the California Department of Fish & Wildlife.
Last year we were able to haul out multiple flatbeds worth of willow, hemlock and other invasive species; old buried styrofoam dock material and other large debris; one mylar balloon, two 33 gallon bags of wads and hulls, and other trash. We also filled countless potholes along the Buchli access road and kids had a great time painting one of the control gates with a new coat of "Department Yellow."
This year we will be working with CDFW to make improvements to the wildlife area and we will also have some great incentives/prizes to encourage volunteers to pick up spent hulls and wads that were left after waterfowl season.
Be sure to bring good walking shoes, sun protection, snacks and water.
Thanks for your support of our public lands, waters and wildlife!
