Join Minnesota Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and our partners at Pheasants Forever-Dakota County to improve the habitat at Mud Creek Wildlife Management Area. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to your public lands! In association with the Minnesota DNR, we will be removing old barbed wire fencing to increase safety for dogs & hunters. Additionally, this will be the first step in a larger habitat improvement project for the area.
This will be a three day event: April 1-3, 2022.
Sign-ups for this project are limited. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver.
Items to bring:
- Protective Work Gloves
- Eye Protection
- Wire Cutters
- Pruning Shears
- Brush Loppers
Some additional hand equipment will be provided but supplies are limited
Pre-Project Zoom will be sent to volunteers one week prior to the event.
