Montana Chapter Campout

The 2018 Montana Chapter Campout is shaping up to be the best one yet!

To kick off the festivities, join us at Casey's in Whitefish for Campfire Stories presented by C.C. Filson. Featuring some big names in the world of hunting and fishing, BHA's storytelling event will be sure to inspire you and make you laugh. Tickets are on sale now!

Campout is free of charge and will be hosted at Murray Lake in the Stillwater State Forest, just outside of Whitefish. The weekend-long campout will feature free activities and friendly competitions including an archery shoot, wild game eats and a powwow to discuss the work being done and on the horizon for the Montana Chapter.

New this year, Rick and Linda Schmidt will be leading the group in a series of Dutch oven cooking demonstrations. And on the water, folks will have an opportunity to try their hand at paddling traditional North American birch bark or wood canvas canoes. Folks are encouraged to bring their fishing gear and float tubes!

The Montana chapter will be providing lunch (Ed's BBQ!) and dinner on Saturday. A good time will be had by all and we hope to see you there!
