We have a two-part work day / pint night coming up in south-central PA!
Part One (1 to 4 p.m.) PA BHA our partners at the Friends of Michaux State Forest and PA DCNR need your help to maintain the public shooting range in Michaux State Forest.
Public land shooting ranges are critical to many of us as an economical way to maintain or learn new shooting skills. They are also often important to new hunters and shooters as they learn the ropes. Learn more about the shooting range at Michaux State Forest and what it has to offer here.
We will meet at the range parking lot at 1 p.m. There is no address, so use the Google Maps link below or coordinates 39.94662, -77.44884.
We will most likely be filling sandbags to bulk up and protect the back stop of the rifle range. Volunteers should bring gloves, wear jeans, closed toed shoes, etc. Also bring water and snacks.
If you are attending the cleanup, please RSVP below so we know to expect you!
Part Two (4 to 7 p.m.) We'll transition from work to relaxation as we head to Michaux Brewing in Waynesboro for a Pint Night. As are all of our Pint Nights, this will be a casual, fun way to meet fellow hunters and anglers, swap stories and learn about BHA and our mission to conserve public lands and waters. Michaux Brewing is located at 11657 Buchanan Trail East Waynesboro, PA
