Grab your leather gloves and help the Washington chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife remove barbed wire fencing on the Methow Wildlife Area near Bear Creek, Winthrop Wa. Saturday, May 21st.
The Methow has the largest migratory mule deer population in the state. As human development increases on the surrounding private property; the importance of improving and protecting these low-elevation winter habitats on public lands also grows.
Afterwards, we'll celebrate our hard work with a BBQ hosted by the WA BHA Chapter and WDFW.
Make it a weekend event and join us at a free, group camping spot near the work site and just outside of Winthrop, WA.
