W.VA. Monongahela National Forest Receives Funding

  West Virginia is beginning to feel the effects of the Great American Outdoors act with $6Million dollars going to help with deferred maintenance at the Monongahela National Forest! The money will be used to improve recreation opportunities, access, and safety to all visitors. BC BHA Launches West Kootenay Alpine Lakes Citizen Science Project

British Columbia BHA Continues Engagement on Region 7B Regulation Changes

A sustainable caribou hunt was closed and moose changed from general open season to a limited entry hunt at a target of 50% harvest rate from status quo. $25 Million Dedicated to Indiana Conservation

The Indiana DNR has announced the formation of the Next Level Conservation Trust and the state is passing along a record breaking $25 Million into the NLCT! Wildlife commission OKs free elk tags for 28 landowners under revised process

Thirty-seven landowners will be awarded 47 free elk hunting tags only good on their property during this fall’s hunting season under a newly devised process, the Fish and Wildlife Commission agreed at its Wednesday meeting.
