Lake Creek Float Fishing Presentation and West Susitna Access Road Discussion with Eric Booton of Alaska Trout Unlimited.
Attention anglers, rafters, and hunters who recreate within the Susitna River Basin!
Fairbanks Trout Unlimited and the Alaska Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers invite Susitna River enthusiasts to attend a presentation by Eric Booton of Alaska Trout Unlimited about his recent float fishing trip on Lake Creek, one of the Susitna Basin's designated Recreational Rivers. Eric will also discuss the proposed West Susitna Access Road, which would alter the future for the wild region, and touch on the ongoing review of the Susitna Basin Recreational Rivers Management Plan. After the presentation and discussion, we will move to the deck of the Pumphouse (if the weather permits) for drinks and informal discussion. Space is limited for this event due to the size of the conference room, so please RSVP if you want to secure a place! If you are unsure if you will be able to attend, last minute decisions are fine too, you will be able to participate in the post-presentation hangout if the conference room fills up.
