Shotgun Skills - Sporting Clays

Kentucky Backcountry Hunters and Anglers in partnership with Hunters of Color Kentucky will be hosting a one day Shotgun Skills workshop along with KY dept. Fish and Wildlife at Anderson County Sportsmans Club on August, 27th, 2022 from 10am-1pm. All are welcome, groups will go in heats and be 2-3 shooters. This is an educational community event aimed at preparing our mentees for upcoming hunts. We have been asked to limit our entire group size to 30 shooters.

Shotgun components and names
Shooting form
Shooting safety
Hands-on shooting experience with the available shotgun types
Experience shooting moving targets
Exposure to shotgun brands
Exposure to experienced shotgun shooters and hunters
Additional ways to enjoy the outdoors with community

Location Instructions:
When you get to the end of Old Joe Road, then turn left and go through gate and follow gravel road to club house and look for a KY BHA Banner.
