Join us this Public Lands Day on the beautiful Kern River as we raft and pack out trash from the watershed. We will be joining the Kern River Conservancy on this adventure and thanks to an epic winter, the river is still flowing fast!
We will be meeting at Whitewater Voyages in Kernville at 9:30am. Please bring appropriate clothing for the river, sun protection, water and food. The rafting trip should take about 3 to 4 hours depending on how fast the water is moving. Expect mostly class 3 rapids with occasional class 4 depending on the conditions day of.
We have limited space (two boats) so only RSVP if you absolutely plan to attend since we want to make sure we fill both boats. Due to the fast flows of the Kern right now the river outfitter has requested that participants are 18 years and older.
