Join Montana State University BHA on the ice at Hyalite Reservoir on Saturday, February 20th from 11am-4pm. All experience levels welcome! Bring your own ice fishing gear if you have it, but we will have extra equipment on hand if you are new. If you don't have a fishing license, no worries! You do not need one if you are registered for this event (though we encourage you to support Montana FWP by purchasing one here).
Park at the main lot before the dam. Look for the BHA logo/banner on the ice!
What to bring:
- Ice fishing rod
- Camp chair
- Bait (mealworms, waxworms, maggots)/jigs
- Food/drink
- Shelter (if you have one)
- Fishing license (if you have one)
- All your friends
