The trout are hungry and the ice fishing is heating up! Join your fellow anglers on the hardwater Saturday March 9th, for a day of ice fishing and enjoying the outdoors with a Teton view. Bring your own ice fishing gear if you have it. If you do not, no worries! We will have a couple ice augers, several extra ice rods, and extra tackle available to share. If you have a regular spinning rod set-up, that works just fine too. We will be providing bratwursts for lunch.
We will meet at 8am, at the Colter Bay "Swim Beach" snowmobile access, and hike 1/4 to 1/2 mile out to the secret fishing hot spot.
What to bring:
- Fishing gear (if you have it) and fishing license. A camp chair comes in handy out there. Snowshoes are recommended but may not be necessary.
- Reminder: Per Park regulations, dogs are not allowed on the lake.
- This event is subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. If it is cancelled, you'll be notified by email.
