Please reach out to the event lead listed on this page for information on participating. Join us Saturday, July 20th for a unique opportunity to improve wildlife habitat!We are partnering with the BLM and need enthusiastic stewards to assist in the construction of Zeedyk rock structures and help enhance the habitat for the Greater Sage-Grouse, elk, mule deer and other wildlife species in this unique wet meadow environment.Participants will meet at 8AM at Emma Park Road off Hwy 6 near Helper, Utah. Exact coordinates will be emailed to volunteers closer July 20th.The morning will start with light breakfast and drinks while BHA & BLM leads run volunteers through the work details.We will spend an estimated two hours on constructing Zeedyk Rock Structures. This is physical outdoor labor. We recommend bringing appropriate gear like work gloves, sun protection and water.After the work is complete, we will wrap up with a light lunch and drinks.This project is eligible for hours under the Utah Division of Wildlifes Dedicated Hunter program. If you are planning on joining us for this project and are enrolled in the Dedicated Hunter program, you must also RSVP on the DWRs Dedicated Hunter page in order to receive credit for your work.We look forward to seeing you there!
