First Lite

Our friends over at First Lite are at it again, stepping up wherever possible to support conservation. They are platinum sponsors of BHA and donated $5 for each bag of trash picked up during the public land Public Lands Pack Out. Via their Brush for Bucks program, First Lite has purchased and planted thousands of shrub seedlings on damaged mule deer winter range.  They also advocated for the Great American Outdoors act, opposed the proposed Pebble Mine and mining near Minnesota's Boundary Waters Wilderness, and have worked to raise awareness around Chronic Wasting Disease. This year, First Lite introduced both employee and customer hunting mentorship incentive programs to address the decline in hunter numbers and conservation funding. Finally, their Round Up for Conservation program has raised over $100K for BHA and other non-profits working to protect wildlife and wild places.

Now, they’ve organized a campaign to connect ALL users of wild places in a new campaign called the Common Wild Initiative. On December 3rd, a coalition of brands from across the outdoor industry will put aside competition and their difference and offer limited-release products with 100% of the profits going conservation.

If you’re looking to support a genuine conservation-minded organization that supports the heck out of BHA this holiday season, look no further than First Lite. Visit www.firstlite.com.
