The Oklahoma chapter was officially accredited in May and immediately set lofty goals for the upcoming year.
Our inaugural State Rendezvous was held July 26th- 28th on the Upper Illinois River. Folks enjoyed a pint night, two nights of camping, a fish fry and a 12-mile float down the river – picking up trash, fishing and spreading the good words of BHA.
We celebrated the opening of almost 8,000 acres of new public land in Southeast Oklahoma! The Sans Bois WMA will be open for use this fall.
