Have you been interested in learning about hunting, but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you just want to get more involved with conservation?
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Hunters of Color have a campfire going in Pittsburgh and there’s a spot open just for you. We're hosting a free, all-inclusive 2-day workshop for those that want to learn more about hunting, wild food, and the conservation community. Day one will be an evening event - we'll provide refreshments and help you to learn more about conservation and conservation groups. We'll have appetizers and door prizes to boot! Day two will be at a full day breaking down those initial barriers to understanding and getting started in hunting followed by an understanding of where to go next if you want to learn more or stay involved.
Let us help you get you safely outdoors and to find community, get involved with conservation, and harvest your own wild food. While we’re at it, come join us and let’s throw another log on.
Day 1 - Building Community - August 12th, 6 PM - 8 PM
