A mission without funding is just a good idea, and we rely on the generosity of donors like you to ensure BHA’s meaningful impact as the voice for our wild public lands, waters, and wildlife.  Our enduring commitment and tireless advocacy on behalf of the wild places that feed the human spirit, offer solitude and renewal, and provide habitat for a diversity of fish and wildlife species can only happen with your support. All donations are fully tax-deductible and go directly toward our mission-driven work.

You can give to BHA in a variety of ways including cash, check, credit card, appreciated securities, estate plans, retirement accounts, and insurance policies.

In addition to your donation, if you are not already a BHA member and would like become part of our community of conservation-minded hunters and anglers, you can join us HERE.

Donate Now

Make a one-time donation, or donate monthly to become a sustaining partner and make an even bigger impact. All donations are fully tax-deductible and go toward securing the future of hunting and angling – ensuring that you have access to public lands and waters and healthy fish and wildlife habitat when you get there.

Campfire Society

When you join BHA’s Campfire Society, you go beyond the backcountry. You recognize that BHA’s leadership to stand tall as the voice for public lands, waters, and wildlife can only happen through the generosity of donors who align their passions with their charitable giving. BHA has the courage to engage when it matters and the commitment to get our hands dirty as effective and respected policy advocates and as on-the-ground stewards of our shared natural heritage.

Ways to Give

The A. Richard Kacin Award for Philanthropy & Fundraising

The A. Richard Kacin Award for Philanthropy & Fundraising will be given annually to recognize an individual, business, or BHA chapter for extraordinary contributions to the organization through philanthropy, directed fundraising efforts, or a combination of both. This prestigious award will bear Richard’s name, commemorating his leadership and remarkable generosity to BHA. The inaugural recipient will be announced at our 2025 Rendezvous in Missoula.

Fund the Fight

The attacks on our wild public lands have been building to an unprecedented level, putting every inch of federally managed public land at risk. Backcountry Hunters & Anglers has stepped into the breach without hesitation, and we’re counting on your help to keep up the fight.
