UPDATE 2/24: Due to the recent unseasonably warm temperatures the ice is unsafe and we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.
Are you interested in learning how to ice fish? Come out to Mashapaug Lake in Union, CT on Saturday February 26th and let New England BHA show you how. It’s a great way to socialize and recreate during the cold winter months, kids love it, and the equipment is inexpensive. So dress warm and bring the family. Already know what you’re doing? you’re invited too!
The ice is currently very strong and all signs point to great ice building weather continuing this winter. That being said, ice safety is highly weather dependent so keep an eye on New England BHA's Instagram for cancellations. We’ll be monitoring conditions up until the event.
