MT BHA Helena Chapter Leader Anne Jolliff is offering advocacy training on Wednesday, October 26 from 5-9pm to help prepare conservation-minded Montanans to speak up for our public lands. The next legislative session is right around the corner, and we need YOU to show up to keep public lands in public hands. Speaking up, whether in person or in writing, can be intimidating. This training will provide tools and techniques to help you feel more comfortable and confident at engaging on public lands and waters issues, giving testimony at public hearings, and using your voice to protect our access to fish, wildlife and public lands. It is imperative that we are ready and willing to fight for our state - come learn how!
Training will be held at the Montana Wild Education Center Auditorium and will be broadcast and recorded via Zoom (link below). Food is allowed in the auditorium, but alcohol is not. Please feel free to bring your dinner, and make sure to clean up afterwards!
Disclosure: this training fulfills a portion of Anne's Master's degree. Participants will be asked to complete a pre- and post- assessment survey for her research!
