Come on out to Hickman Creek at Veterans Park in Lexington KY. The KY BHA Chapter will conduct a cleanup of Hickman Creek and enjoy some fellowship with like minded conservationists!! Partnering with Bluegrass Trout Unlimited, this will give us a great opportunity to make an impact on this great waterway!
After the cleanup, we will have a light lunch (provided by chapter) and will have a few small prizes to give out to participants. The KY Chapter is also performing a Public Lands Month Membership Drive throughout the month of September. Any new or renewal during September will receive an awesome Gerber Knife (sent from BHA National Headquarters) and be entered into a chance to win a $250 gift card to one of our National BHA Sponsors - Waltons!
We will be meeting at Shelter 3 inside the park and plan to begin the cleanup at 10am! Be sure to bring gloves and dress accordingly.
