Hurricane Florence brought a unique tidal pattern into the Patuxent River and with it a large amount of debris and trash. The Capital Region Chapter of BHA needs a few dedicated outdoorsmen and women to assist in a clean-up effort at Patuxent River Park in Maryland. We will be partnering with the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary and the Park Service to clean up our public waters! The park will provide kayaks, canoes, and waders.
This is a great opportunity to show folks what BHA cares about— CLEAN, ACCESSIBLE WATERS!
Feel free to come early and walk the trails and share a cup of camp coffee with other BHA members.
