Learn about BHAs Armed Forces Initiative, conservation policies in North Carolina, Wild turkey conservation management, and how to hunt turkeys on Camp Lejeune.
This Learn to Hunt event is a workshop on turkey hunting, turkey hunting regulations, biology, tracking, sign, and tactics. An out in the field demonstration of tracking/stalking/calling will be part of the workshop.
Attendees must:
-Have NEVER hunted
-or-
-Have minimal hunting experience (not actively hunted in the last 3 years)
-or-
-Lack the social support to learn how to hunt through friends or family
Attendees are required to have:
-A Hunters Safety Certification
-A valid NC hunting license (WRC number required)
When is it:
March 9th from 8AM - 5PM

Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
- You do not need to be a BHA member to attend
(but we sure would appreciate it if you were)
