You may use a total of three flies at one time. Indicators/bobbers, split shot, any length leader/tippet and weighted flies are all acceptable. Fish must be caught and not snagged. Flies may not be scented, however regular floatant is allowed. Barbless flies highly encouraged. Tenkara rods are OK to use.
Scoring: 100 points per fish caught plus 10 points per inch. Ie, 12” fish is caught. Fish is worth 220 points: 100 pts (per fish) + 120 pts (12” X 10 pt). Please bring your own measuring devise: tape measure, measuring net, etc. and take a photo of your fish.
Teams: This will be a 5 person team event with a registration fee of $50 per person. If you do not have a complete team of 5, we will place you with a team in need of more people. Teams do not have to be official fly fishing clubs to participate. Team shirts are highly encouraged as we will introduce the teams in an "Olympic-like" ceremony.
Divisions: Should we get more than 3 professional teams, we shall make a PRO and a BRO division.
Eligible Fish: All fish are eligible.
