Join the Capital Region Chapter for a Public Land Pack Out in cooperation with the Virginia DWR.
This is our annual public land pack out at Virginia DWR’s C.F. Phelps Wildlife Management Area in Sumerduck, VA. We will meet up at the C.F. Phelps WMA "Pond" Public Parking area and assign teams to their respective clean up locations. Every year we are able to show our support to Virginia DWR and the C.F. Phelps WMA by getting all the trash and other debris cleaned up just in time for the fall hunt seasons to kick off.
So come on out and join us for a day celebrating our public lands. We will follow up the mornings work with a BBQ and fishing at the pond.
The is an all-ages event and we encourage you to bring everyone you can round up!
This event is open to BHA members, friends, and non-members! Please RSVP using the link below so we know to expect you.

The Phelps Wildlife Management Area, located near the village of Sumerduck, is accessible by route 651, either south from U.S. Route 29 through the Town of Remington, or from U. S. Route 17, one mile north of Goldvein Post Office.
