Join Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for an Open Range Day September 12 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Walter Cabell Shooting Range at Vermont Fish and Wildlife's Buck Lake Green Mountain Conservation Camp in Woodbury.
Experienced shooters and hunters will be available to assist with sight-in and tips on how to shoot straight if requested. For those interested, information on non-lead ammunition as well as BHA projects and upcoming events will also be available.
This is a joint pilot project with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, Hunter Education, 4-H Shooting Sports and BHA. It is open to the public and is FREE.
*Bring your own firearm & matching ammunition.
*Safety glasses and hearing protection is required—please bring your own.
*No registration is required, come on down and get ready for a great fall in the woods!
